Experience Skye Mountain Guides - Ray's MacKenzie love of the mountains led him to Skye where he has spent the last 10 years, walking, climbing, and exploring, the finest mountain range in the UK - The Cuillin. Ray's intimate local knowledge of these mountains, his enthusiasm, and sociable nature, have made him one of Skye's most popular guides.
As a client, whether you are an individual, a collection of friends, or a corporate group looking for adventure, you can relax, leave the navigation and any necessary rope-work to your guide, and just enjoy the mountains, the mountain environment, and most importantly yourself, in company with an experienced leader. All clients are encouraged to build on their existing skills and are introduced to the good practice of safe movement on steep terrain. Many clients who have "bagged" a Munro, completed a course of mountain scrambles, or traversed the Cuillin ridge have come back again to both tackle the harder routes that the Cuillin offer and to explore them independently.
