Sculpture by Laurence Broderick - In his figurative and abstract, bronze and stone sculpture, Laurence Broderick draws inspiration from the female figure and wildlife, in particular the otter and endangered species. When learning of the plight of turtles, polar bears, rhinos and elephants due to man's abuse, it had a profound and emotive effect on expressing his art. Born in Bristol, 1935, Laurence Broderick studied sculpture under Geoffrey Deeley at the Regent Street Polytechnic, and Sidney Harpley and Keith Godwin at the Hammersmith School of Art, London. He divides his time between studios on the Isle of Skye and Cambridgeshire.

Skye Art by Janet Soutar - From her studio on the beautiful Isle of Skye, Scottish artist Janet Soutar set up this site in an endeavour to promote her paintings of the Skye and Lochalsh Area. The inspirational landscapes which surround her home on the Isle of Skye and her experience of sailing the west coast of Scotland are frequent influential themes in her paintings, which, above all, convey a strong sense of time, place and mood to the viewer.
